How to Register Your Company in Pakistan?


Step 1:

Application for company name reservation before Securities and Exchange commission of Pakistan (SECP). There should not be any name resemblance to any other registered company and should not be against rules. If there is no objection and on name, it can be reserved within one working day.


Step 2:

(For foreign Nationals only)
You will require to get attestation on undertaking from Embassy / Oath Commissioner / Attorney either in your country or from Pakistan if you are not Pakistani (being a foreign national). I’ll provide you format. Time depends on you at this stage. Moreover, at this stage, SECP may ask you to bring NOC from State Bank of Pakistan. If there is no objection on name, it will be reserved within one working day.

Step 3:

The next step of registration a company in Pakistan is that, Once SECP reserve your business name, then we will submit documents and undertaking along with related information and other forms. All these documentation will be prepared by us. It takes maximum two working days.


Step 4:

After reviewing the submitted documents, SECP will issue company incorporation certificate. And if there is also a foreign national director / subscriber, SECP will also seek NOC from Interior ministry. If Interior Ministry do not provide NOC, SECP will cancel registration of incorporated company. Only one working day require at this stage.

Step 5:

Issuance of National Tax Number (NTN) from Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). This is for tax registration purpose. FBR issues it on same day. But if foreign national is also part of company, first, we will require to get personal NTN(s) of foreign national(s). It takes only one day to take NTN if all the documents are ready.


Step 6:

To register any company in Pakistan, Opening of bank account is compulsory. It can also be opened in one day. We can assist in this as well.

Step 7:

The Last stage of registration your company in Pakistan is Submission of Annexure 7 by Auditor confirming transfer of share capital. At this stage, you will transfer your share capital in bank accounts. It can also be done in same day.
